Patriot Broadcasting
Students in 4th and 5th grade at Pietrini Elementary have the opportunity to join Broadcast Club! It is Pietrini's very own news channel!!
Students will make a monthly news broadcast to send out to the school and the community. Students will decide on the content of each month’s news production and divide up responsibilities for researching the content. This may include but is not limited to: interviewing staff and community members, researching history of event, attending events and taking notes, etc. After researching and gathering content, students will write news scripts and complete all the processes of creating a broadcast. Using a program called WeVideo, students will record, edit, and publish their final newscasts on YouTube.
Encourage your student to join broadcast club if they love to write, make videos, or be in front of the camera!
