Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

At Pietrini Elementary, our mission is to create a safe, engaging environment where all students feel valued and empowered to learn as part of our school community. We believe that every Pietrini student is capable of learning and growing into their full potential, academically, socially, and emotionally. We do this with HIGH expectations and always emphasizing responsible citizenship through our Patriot STARS Principles and CHAMPS expectations.

This year, we are excited to introduce our Patriot STARS! These five guiding principles represent the character traits and behaviors we encourage every student to practice each day. Our goal is to help students grow into respectful, responsible, and caring members of our school community.

Our incredible staff works every day to create a school environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and fosters a love of learning. We hope parents will join us in this collaborative effort of encouraging our students to persevere through challenges and have a growth mindset!

Pietrini Elementary continues to be a wonderful, close-knit neighborhood school for the Franklin Park, IL community. Throughout my 21 years in District 84, I have come to believe that we have the most amazing students and families anywhere. I love being a part of the Pietrini family and I look forward to working together in order to improve student learning and strengthen the school community!
